The Porsche 911 S Softwindow Targa is one of the rarest variants of the early 911 family. The Targa concept, introduced in 1965, combined a distinctive stainless steel safety bar with a removable roof section and a foldable plastic rear window. In combination with the short wheelbase and the powerful S version, one of the most characteristic configurations of the early 911 generation was created.

This fully restored example dates from 1968 and is one of only 925 911 S Softwindow Targa with a short wheelbase produced. The vehicle was originally delivered in Europe and has matching numbers, which are documented by an existing manufacturer's confirmation from Porsche. It thus combines rarity, originality and a traceable history.

Contemporary equipment includes Fuchs alloy wheels, front neck restraints, an emergency seat in the rear, a Blaupunkt radio and two auxiliary headlights.
